How I started “Be My Voice – Mobilize Animal Liberation

I made this PSA video for social media distribution. It came out of necessity and it was the catalyst for a Facebook group that I admin. called Be My Voice. 
A friend told me about his neighbor who was abusing a dog for several months and that the police would not take action because animals are considered personal property. I made this video and we got 2,500 people to join the group and support getting this dog out of the hands of the abuser by ringing the phone of the shelter off the hook.

About Wings of Rescue

Wings of Rescue is a donation-based charity, flying large numbers of at risk healthy pets long distances from high intake shelters to safety at no kill shelters throughout the United States and Canada. Founded in 2009, Wings of Rescue has a squadron of volunteer pilots flying the rescue missions on their own planes, as well as a fleet of chartered cargo planes.  This year alone Wings will have flown 12,000 pets to safety. Since our inception, over 22,000 pets have gotten their honorary “wings” and a new and loving home.

My role: Rescue Gala Fundraiser team member – design promo materials, write copy,  social media marketing, event planning and execution.

My role: Volunteer for organizing and implementing World Dog Day Fundraiser 2016 to raise awareness and put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. Helped with finding vendors, planning activities, acquiring volunteers and manning the adoption area of the event as well as aiding the speakers.
