Synergy Creative Services started as a small yet dynamic design studio in Manhattan that was launched in 1998 by Lindsey Baker. Baker specialized in forming creative teams “ALA CARTE” meaning  she put together teams, based on the service needs of her clients, on a ad hoc basis, resulting in cost effective services for  her clients. Working with other independent professionals, she provided web design, interactive, video and motion, copy writing, marketing research, branding, advertising, etc. The clients fell within the financial,  real estate, retail markets. Synergy Creative also teamed with other larger agencies to work on accounts for Federated Merchandising, Car and Driver Magazine, Mercedes and GMC. In 2002 Lindsey Baker, the founder and creative director relocated to San Diego to work as a Design Educator and an independent designer. The Synergy Creative website became a blog and learning resource site, as well as, a place to showcase the work of Lindsey Baker Design. Today Baker lives in Los Angeles, teaches  courses in design and entrepreneurship and works with clients in a variety of industries.
